ASSISTANT FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

We are a highly reputable restaurant, nestled in the South Downs. We have two rosettes presently and are working towards a third, with a fantastic kitchen brigade under our Head Chef, Paul Welburn. 

We are looking for a very special person to join our team, to assist our Service Manager with all aspects of running the front of house. 

You will have experience in the restaurant industry, preferable in a fine dinning or high-end establishment. Interested in food and wine culture you should be able to lead naturally and effortlessly a team of people. You should have great customer service skills to be able to delight our very discerning demographic and be willing to get involved with all aspects of administration such as banking, rotas, private hire, booking systems, ordering and answering customer queries. 

Unflappable and calm with real attention to detail and care and concern to improve your environment, understand and communicate the culinary delights on offer, you see every issue as an opportunity and every problem as a possibility. You must be willing to step outside your hours and to understand the needs of the hospitality industry.

You will work in a great team, learn and develop your skills and work with a kitchen looking for excellence in all they do, as well as under a very professional and competent FOH service manager. You should be an efficient communicator both verbally and with the written word and see your future in hospitality.

FRONT OF HOUSE

Experienced, hard-working, friendly individuals who understand the importance of being part of a happy and award winning team. People, who are eager to learn all aspects of the service environment. We need accommodating and flexible team players who can work most weekends and also evenings.

The starting rate is £7 per hour plus a share of excellent tips.
